Our mission is to help learners master language through multimedia in a safe, respectful, and creative environment. To achieve this, we ask all users to follow these Community Guidelines. By uploading or interacting with content on Globify, you agree to comply with these rules.
Globify reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Guidelines.
1. Positive and Respectful Content
- All uploaded media (images, videos, or other content) must be respectful and positive toward the subject matter.
- Content must not be mocking, insulting, demeaning, or harmful toward individuals, groups, or communities.
2. Nuanced Educational Use
- Exceptions are permitted if media is necessary to illustrate a sample sentence that naturally involves sadness, conflict, or negative expression (e.g., “She felt sad about being mocked by her husband”).
- In such cases, media should reflect the educational purpose only, without excessive or gratuitous negativity.
- Globify retains full discretion to decide whether a specific upload falls within this allowance.
3. No Harassment or Bullying
- Do not upload content that harasses, bullies, or encourages mistreatment of others.
- This applies both to real individuals (celebrities, teachers, students) and to fictional characters.
4. No Hate Speech or Discrimination
- Content must not promote hatred or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected status.
5. Copyright & Originality
- Users must only upload content they have the rights to use, or content that clearly falls under fair use for educational illustration.
- AI-generated, original, parody, or royalty-free media is encouraged.
- Content copied directly from copyrighted works without permission (e.g., unlicensed movie clips, music videos) is prohibited.
- Users are solely responsible for any copyright claims arising from their content, and Globify will respond to such claims in accordance with its DMCA policy (for U.S. claims) or applicable laws.
6. Safety & Appropriateness
- No violent, graphic, or sexually explicit content.
- No content that encourages illegal or dangerous activities.
7. Globify’s Discretion
- Globify retains the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether content aligns with these Community Guidelines.
- Decisions made by Globify regarding removal, restriction, or enforcement are final.
8. Content Review Disclaimer (Incorporated by Reference)
- Globify’s Content Team may review uploads before publication to assess compliance with the Community Guidelines.
- This review is not a copyright clearance process. Content approval does not mean the content is free of copyright restrictions.
- Users are solely responsible for securing necessary rights or permissions.
- This Disclaimer forms part of both the Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service.

9. Enforcement & Consequences
- Violations may result in:
- Content removal.
- Temporary suspension of account privileges.
- Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations.
- Cooperation with legal requests, including DMCA takedown notices.
- Globify may report unlawful content to authorities when legally required.
10. Relationship to Terms of Service
These Community Guidelines are incorporated by reference into Globify’s Terms of Service. By agreeing to the Terms of Service, you also agree to follow these Guidelines.
